On 17th July 2026, our Cubs enjoyed a fantastic evening out taking part in the Trunks Across the Thames Elephant Art Trail. The sponsored hike took them across Eton and Windsor, where they successfully tracked down 13 of the beautifully decorated elephant sculptures.
The challenge was about much more than finding elephants. Throughout the evening, the Cubs worked together as a team, developed their navigation skills, built confidence, and showed great determination as they completed the route while striking a different pose! It was a fun-filled adventure that everyone will remember.
We’re delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of our parents and supporters, we raised £65 for Thames Hospice (https://trunksacrossthethames.co.uk/). The charity provides compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, making a real difference in our local community.
A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored our Cubs and encouraged them throughout the challenge. Your support helped make the evening a great success while raising valuable funds for an amazing local charity. We are incredibly proud of everything our Cubs achieved.
